IMMUNITY

Chicken is a great source of lean protein

Red peppers are a good source of vitamin C and other vitamins including B6, K, A and E and minerals including potassium and folate.

Tomatoes contain lycopene – a compound that is responsible for their red colouring and has been linked to good eye and heart health.

Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable and provides fibre and a range of vitamins (including A, C, E, K and some of the B vitamins e.g. folic acid) and minerals (including iron, potassium, calcium, selenium and magnesium). Studies have linked the consumption of cruciferous vegetables to improved heart health and due to its vitamin K and fibre content, broccoli also supports bone health and immune health respectively.

Textures

7-10 months

As your baby will have gotten used to smooth textures, our 7-10 months pots start to include very soft lumps within the thicker soft texture to encourage chewing. We want to help get your little one used to seeing and tasting a variety of different flavours by introducing spices and herbs into exciting and colourful combinations. Our fruit compotes are always blended smooth to be used as a spread on toast soldiers or stirred through porridge.

10-12 months

By 10 months, our pots introduce soft pea-sized lumps and chunks into a thick puree to encourage chewing.

12+ months

By 12-24 months, your little one is gradually learning how to eat just like Mummy and Daddy! Our pots now consist of baby bite-sized pieces as your little one is confident with chewing. This is the stage when children can often be a bit picky so here is when it’s really important to keep persisting with variety otherwise you could get stuck in the plain pasta with butter cycle. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
